Mad Men Book

I have always thought the best gift to give is something you would really like to receive. That is why this Christmas in the midst of my Mad Men craze I gave my mom season 1&2 on DVD. And, needless to say, she's now just as hooked as I am. To quote her directly "If I am not watching it I am thinking about the next time I can." Yes, indeed.
If you have never seen it, part of the beauty of this show is the impeccable art direction and costume design. It really transports you to another era. Much of that is thanks to this woman: Janie Bryant, who basically has my dream job. And now she is putting out a fashion book dedicated to the fabulous vintage styles seen on the show, and how you can pull them off. Can't wait!

Weird, my blogroll hasn't picked up on any of your newest posts. I'll have to fix. Anywho - Mad Men! Amazing, huh? The fashion is friggin awesome, but the furniture really gets me. And the smoking. And the drinking. So bad, but looks so cool.
